He worked as a securities broker for Citicorp Investment services in New York for over nine years working with domestic and international clients, he honed his knowledge and grew his experience in investments, becoming a top producer (million dollar benchmark), while exceeding in service to his clients.

Entrepreneurial DNA
Before software, the internet, and the search engine unlocked all gateways to instant world wide communication, and enabled access to previously inaccessible global knowledge.
And, before the company ‘Opentable’ came into existence (all, 1990’s). Jim came up with the idea of, ‘Manhattan Nights (discovery, access, and reservations to all different types of restaurants, special events, and so much more)’. The link below will show you how he came up with the original idea, and the concept that he created around that idea, and his sense of the unmet need for growth in everything social. The yet to come, eventual birth of Social Media (see title on business card).
Take a look at the business plan that he put together, which, he then sent to Silicon Valley in 1987. He was told, that his grand vision for that idea and business concept, and its ability to be able to grow and expand on a global level, was not viable at that moment in time (too early). Back then, there was no software, internet, nor search engines available.

"I have known Jim Franco for over 20 years, he worked for me in Citigroup, while I was Head of Sales at the International wealth management division, in our New York offices. He was always a very hard working, driven investment advisor, a team member that I could always count on for our numbers, he helped us to open many accounts in countries like Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Colombia and Argentina. In Argentina he built relationships with the local Citibank Citigold division, which was one of many reasons he was able to become our top producer during many years (million dollar producer).
Throughout the years I met with many of his clients, and they all had very good things to say about him and his unique way of providing exceptional service as well as very satisfactory results. I can also say, that I consider him a good and kind person as well. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any position in new business development, sales or wealth management, or for that matter, any new challenge that he decides to embark on."

Volunteer work and Causes
Hospital For Special Surgery (HSS is #1 in America for Orthopedics) -
I worked with teenage kids, helped them prepare emotionally for their upcoming Scoliosis surgery and the ensuing changes in their lives after the operation. It was a very traumatic experience they were going through. I helped them and their parents get through it, as best as they could. An experience that one never forgets.
